Plot

1.What is the story about? What are the main events in the story, and how are    they related to each other?

The story is about Anna Avalons, who was a trapeze performer. Working with trapeze you will take a great risks, and her first husband was her partner, he died from an accident during the perform. Her first baby died in the bomb, at the same time too. At her second marriage, their house got on fire, the child was save, but not the mother. Anna was in the room, and it's too high to save her, but she save herself by her own, using the trapeze skills. These events are all about Anna's career, trapeze performer.

2. Are the main events of the story arranged chronologically, or are they arranged in another way?

The main events of the story arranged chronologically.

3.How the story narrated? Are flashbacks, summaries, stories, within the stroy used?

The story mostly used flashbacks. The daughter is the narrator, she use flashbacks to talk about her mother's life.

4.Is the plot fast-paced or slow-paced?

     The plot is fast-paced.

5. How do the thoughts, behaviors, and actions of characters move the plot forward?

Anna's first husband died during the performance, and Anna was injure and send to the hospital at the same time. In the hospital Anna met her love one, and soon they get married when Anna got her hope again. After the daughter was born, once their house got on fire and Anna use her trapeze skills to safe her life. Anna may make a slight mistake but at the end she safe the child's life, so they still be happy about it.

6. What are the conflicts in the plot? Are they physical, intellectual, more or emotional? Are they resolved? How are they resolved? Is the main conflict between good and evil sharply differentiated, or is it more subtle and complex?

The conflict in the plot is about Anna and herself. She was injured because of an accident, and she think she couldn't do trapeze anymore, since she fail once already. The conflict is physical and emotional, Anna is injured that is physical, and what did she think about herself that is emotional. The conflict was solved by Anna's love one, because of him, Anna got the hope again, and she got her confidence back again. There don't really have good and evil, so there have no conflicts between these two.

7. What is the climax of the story and at what point in the story does the climax occur? Is the ending of the story happy, unhappy, or indeterminate? Is it fairly achieved?

The climax of the story is when the house got on fire, Anna try to save her child by using the trapeze skills that she learned before, and the one she use in the performance. The ending of the story is happy, because Anna did save her child and the story is fairly achieved. They live happily after.

8. Does the plot have unity? Are all the episodes relevant to the total meaning or effect of the story? Does each incident grow logically out of the preceding incident and lead naturally to the next?

The plot have unity, and all the episodes relevant to the total meaning of the story. Each incident also grow logically out of the preceding incident and lead naturally to the next.

9. What use does the story make of chance and coincidence? Are these occurrences used to initiate, to complicate, or to resolve the story? how improbable are they?

The story make the chance to let the character change themselves and their lives, and there occurrences used to initiate. I think it wasn't improbable at all, because performer, athlete or actors, may face this kind of situation in the real life.
